Well my battery ligth came on today(out of all days) and took it to AutoZone...They did a free check of the battery and alt.

Battery came out: Good, low charge
Alt: Working fine except NO SIGNAL OUTPUT, CHECK OUTPUT WIRE???

What does this mean and will warranty cover it?? Battery gauge is slowly dropping and truck is acting REAL funny....

The ALT went bad on my HD about 2 months ago had the same sypthoms you have got it replaced uder warrenty then Traded the suker in!
