Dynoed the 03 L yesterday!!! ( Videos also)

Well, I finally got to dyno my new combination.

5600 miles on odo.

SAE numbers.

492 rwhp / 572 rwtq @ 18 lbs. - A/F = 11.6

446 rwhp / 506 rwtq @ 14 lbs. - A/F = 11.2

p.s.- I fiqured since I have been on here a year, it was time for a name change.
No more Six Spd Z28.......I went ahead and made a new user ID since I couldnt get the F150 gods to do it for me

Here are 2 videos from the dyno.

save target as:

Dyno video 1

Dyno video 2

Hey Eric,
I posted up on one of your threads here recently. Your 12.31@112mph in 90*plus heat is what put me over the top on my KB purchase decision! My best time is a 12.37@109.6mph on a perfectly cool night back in November of last year.
We just put the KB on Friday and dynoed yesterday. Her #'s are very close to your's at similar boost levels, so that is encouraging I actually just posted my numbers up a little earlier today. Take Care and Good Luck

Do you have a stock block, if so are you planning on getting a built block after buying the KB? I'm curious since I too want to go the KB route soon.

Yessir it's stock, I am not planning on making a whole lot more power than what it's currently putting out(447/519 RW) She's not daily driven anymore, and I'm HOPING that as long as I keep the revs down(5200-5400rpm max) and stay OUT of boost in OD that she'll be OK. The general consensus seems to be that the stock shortblock SHOULD be OK up to 450rwhp. I'd like to get my tune to produce 450rwhp @12psi boost. The main reason I went w/ the KB is for efficiency. Tired of loosing 40-50hp in TX summers, which seem to last 8 months out of the year.

Good Luck w/ your decision!

Thanks everybody.

I run 14 lbs on the street, and I run 16-18 at the track, thats why I dynoed both combinations.

Hopefully since I went with a safe tune I should be able to keep the rods in the block for a while.

If I goes boom....I will build it

How much boost were you running on the 12.30 pass?
