0W-20 or 5W-30?

Whats the final word? I'm getting ready to make the big switch to synthetic next oil change, and was just wondering the reasons for chosing one over the other. Any thoughts?

0-20 Mobil 1 replaces 5-20 Mobile 1.

Go to Wal-Mart and pick up your oil filter FL-820S, here it's $2.97, and Mobil 1 0-20. Better prices.

I ran Mobil1 blue lable 5-30 for a long time. It is factory in the Z06 and Viper as well. Where did you hear Ford approving 0-20W? I am breaking in the new motor on Motorcraft 5-20 blend (factory fill oil). WalMart for 1.77 a qt. A buddy runs Royal Purple 5-20W.

I've been using Mobile 1 5w30, but here when it starts to cool off I am switching to 0w20.

This what it says on the back of 0-20 Mobil 1 bottle; "Engineered for newer Ford and Honda applications." It also says meets "the performance requirements of Ford specification WSS-M2c153-H."

Fully Synthetic performance for 5-20 applications.

If you get bored go to Wal-Mart and read the bottle.

JDM recommended I run 0-20 Mobil 1 after I broke in my built JDM engine.

Remember you don't have to use full synthetic oil... it's up to you, me I prefer Mobil 1.

Don, I was able to find a local Wal-Mart that stocks 0-20 Mobile 1 here all the time. Whenever Sue & I go there we pick-up a case.

You coming to Ennis?

I switched to Mobile 1 5W30 when my '03 L reached 3000+ miles. I wanted an oil filler cap that was factory labeled Mobile 1 . Anyway, found a guy on eBAY selling them. Bought one and took a very small sticker to change the 10 to a 5 on the 10W30 Mobile 1 cap. Looks very good. Oh, I also used my stock L oil filler cap gasket on the unit I bought on eBAY as it comes without a gasket. Have logged over 3000 miles with the new cap and no leakage, etc.. Looks good also....
You can buy one of these Mobile 1 oil caps by emailing daimler@snip.net and telling him you would like one. Will cost you about $19.50.
