No on that nasty looking chrome thingy.

On a whim, I installed Grillcraft grilles:



They look much better in non-flash conditions.

Keep it lean, black, and mean. Chrome is for trailer queens and ricers, not true sport trucks.

I think I'm going to pass and keep stock grille, I don't really like chrome anyway. Thanks for opinions!

They look MUCH better in real life than these photos. The flash photos unfairly accentuate the mechanical stuff behind the grill because they shoot light directly into the radiator area, whereas in normal lightning conditions, the light has to bounce around a little before it gets in there.

But they are still really transparent, so attention to detail in the radiator area is important. Plus, the gaps around the sides of the heat exchanger look bad. I am adding a Fluidyne exchanger and will then fabricate some side plates from sheet aluminum, which I will then paint black. That should be a huge improvement.

If those are the two choices then I would say no, but if you were to put a billet grill in, then I would say yes.
