NACA air inlet ducts for ram air

As an alternative to JLP ram air induction kit, is anyone using NACA air inlet ducts mounted on the sides of the front bumper valance? Pegasus racing has a 7x3.5in duct which uses a 2.5 in air duct hose that looks like it would fit on the L's bumper. I would think that getting the air inlets higher above the track surface might give a lower ambient air temp. Interested in what you drag race guys are doing.

Yep, thats on the stock block. I'm seeing 15# max at WOT. I'll be replaceing that 8lb lower with a Metco 4lb interchangable lower this weekend. I trying to bring it back to 12# max.. The 8lb lower will be for sale, if anyone is interested.
