I don't know what mods your runing but you might try removing the chip and see how it runs. I'm sure you know how to remove it right? If not post so and we'll walk you through it.

The PCM is behind the passenger front kick panel, disconect the battery reach under the kick panel and remove the chip.

Here is a good article , It is for a superchips, but will show you where the diablo chip will go.

Just drive rel easy with a 6# pulley and no chip.

Mine has had trouble stalling at idle the last few days. My brother suggested cleaning the idle air control valve, so I took off tonight (2 - 8mm bolts) and ran carb cleaner through it several times while moving the plunger inside. Lots of black goo came out. Seems to idle fine now, but we'll see tomorrow.

I had the same problem, especially at low RPM's.

Take the chip out and what ever you do, don't drive in boost, you will be running very lean. See if it continues to stall. My L didn't turned out to be the tune and we fixed it with a few adjustments.

Good Luck!

Dan

The chip is really easy to get to, you can see it sticking out slightly from your PCM, it faces the passenger seat. It should come out very easy, it is important not to force it out, not to damage the connections.

I installed my PSP chip for the first time today. Truck decided to die going around 35 mph on a busy street in San Francisco. Pulled over put the truck into park and started it again. Started right back up but when i put it into drive again it died again.

Let it sit for a while started it up and left with no probs. Any thoughts. Trucks mods were everything in sig except pulley and plugs.

Not trying to hyjack thread, just thought it related to your problem.

If either L runs/stay's running with the chip out, it may be the chip's connectors. One of my chips has caused my eng. to shut off--during a 1/4 mile run . Removing that one and putting in one of my spares, my L ran fine.

It's not that the connectors aren't clean, it's because(I think?) the chip's connectors have lost their clamping ability. If so, get your tuner to replace the chip.
