Valve Damage From Plug Porcelan
Valve Damage From Plug Porcelan
I can't remember who posted it, but someone had said they had damaged some valves when they destroyed thier Denso's. I was wondering what the symptoms were. Was it obvious, or did you have to tear into it to find the damage?

I can only speak from the other end of the stick
I did this to my truck at the track
when it was dam near brand new
it was still a teenager in terms of weeks old
SCARED THE LIVING SCHITT OUT OF ME

The good news is IN MY CASE, it hurt NOTHING
10K later and it's running smoother and stronger than ever
I don't care what anyone says, when that happens,
it happens for a reason (no matter what plugs your running)
In my case it was a clogged fuel filter

To prevent that from ever happening again to me,
I change the Fuel Filter every 3k Now
I started running a Colder Plug (now Denso IT-22's)
And richened up my tune
(I have it tuned for 6lbs, but only run 4lbs at the track)
Hope your OK Mark and didn't hurt anything
