i was traveling with a pack of like 15 VW's to steele in alabama to do some racing and i guess ppl were having their highway runs and we were going kinda fast but not really anything crazy, but what we figured was that someone called the cops or one of the truckers called the cops and he just came and pulled everyone over, it was quite a sight as he just "pushed" everyone off the road with his cruiser and virtually stopped the highway. but he had nothing on us, he just gave everyone that BS talk and let us go.

I got a ticket in a school zone, radar, gave it to a lawyer, got a call 3 weeks later that it was thrown out. Speeding ticket = $136 dollars + insurance rates. Lawyer = $150 dollars and I didnt hafta do nuthin' Oh and for the goody 2 shoes out there who feel this is wrong, I pulled out of the neighborhood into the middle of the zone stared at the cop radaring me, laughin at him cause I was doing exactly 35MPH like a law abiding citizen. Shoulda looked left and seen the school tho' So in my brain I didnt do anything wrong. SUBJECT SWITCH!! Does this smiley make anyone else feel like they are being talked down to by some one who thinks they're smarter? I dunno for some reason that smiley makes me nuthin' but mad.

 

Oh woops' the whole point was, TAKE IT TO A LAWYER!! Mitigation cuts the cost but you still gain points. The one with the most points does NOT win.

I used to get tickets. So many in fact I lost count.

But an amazing thing happened when I started obeying the law (not just mans). The tickets stopped? Go figure...

HAHAHHAHAHA, Shane I'm suprized you don't get more tickets bro the way you drive. I thought I was a fast driver until I got in the truck with you, HAHAHHA. I think thats the first time I grabbed the oh shlt handle on a L in my entire life!

 

1: Get a lawyer, fight the ticket. There's no sense in giving the state and your insurance company that much money without at least trying to keep it for yourself. If one of us came over to your house with a bill for the $ amount on the ticket, + 3 years worth of increased insurance premiums, would you just fork over the money ? Then why let the government take it ?


2: Chill in the school zones. There's a time & place for everything, and a school zone is NOT the time and place to speed. Particularly elementary schools. When the lights are flashing, drop anchor & let someone throw the block. You Damn sure don't want to hit a kid in a school zone, because the cops will traverse Heaven, Hell & the four corners of the Earth to put you in jail.
