Talking Settled springs, the pictorial. :)

I think the only remaining board member that has the ROUSH install longer then me is SixPipes, so I figured I'd post up my measurements on how my suspension has settled out. This is a full weight truck, nothing removed, with a ARE-II bedlid and subs. :)

Exhaust tips:

No more wonder as to why I won't put on a Ford Racing tranny pan.

But you could put on a moroso tranny pan. It measures 3.642 inches from top to bottom, just like the stock pan.

How would these measurements compare to a truck on Goodyear f1s? I know the pirelli's you run are slightly lower in overall height.

Thanks.

I've been eye'n up that Moroso pan since you put picks of it up, I think I may go that route. There was also one finned one (B&M?) that had no increase in clearance too.

My Pirelli's are .4" shorter then a stock tire...Spike's last post about the stock centerline height for the wheels was 19" for the front and 20.25" for the rear, so spring height alone I'm 2"/3.25" lower then stock.

The tires drop it another .4" inches...my new tire selection (chip required) looks like it will be about 1.4" lower on tire size.

I would like to add that kit over the winter. It looks really good. Do you scrape at all on driveways?

Kickass truck Daniel.

Occasionally (4-5 times) I've scraped the hitch on a driveway, but generally it still clears things. (seems 4" is the optimal height)

I have scraped the front valence on one curb, but otherwise nothing.

Little less the 4", remember he has that heavy ARE lid, plus knowing Dan his got alotta stuff in the back. So you're talking a few hundred lbs. extra which brings it to the 4" drop.
