Just got my shackles and plan on installing them this weekend, they say these will drop the back of the truck 2 inches. But I keep reading on here that these shackles are only getting some people about an inch or inch and a half of drop. What gives? They can't need time to "settle."

 

I bought the 2'' djm's and im not totally happy with them, i got 1 1/2 inches out of them but im thinking of going with some 2'' lowering blocks also.

 

I installed the 2" beltechs and had no problems at all. They gave me the "level" look I was looking for. It was such a simple mod that it was well worth the money and effort. If you looking for some rake, I would lower the front another 1" after installing the shackles, Jim

 

From what I have read over and over on the boards, 2" drop shackles give you less then 2" in drop. I found the 1 1/2" rear drop I got from my DJM 2" drop shackles to be just right in my eyes for my '03L . Did not need to shim as others have reported when they did more drop then I did.

 

i bought my shackles from REM and it seemed that i got my two inches out of them. ive heard horror stories about the 03's having leveling issues.

 

wouldnt u need to do a flip kit to use blocks
