Just subscribing. I'm curious too Frank (and new to the L world). Did the rear shackles even out the stance of your truck? I know these monsters sit a little higher in the back. I was thinking about getting a pair of shackles myself (and possibly lowering springs too).

BTW, I see you are a local guy. Hopefully, I'll be getting up to Towers this Friday. See you around man.

Is there a good F/R drop for the 03's? I saw an 02 with a 2/4 and it looked really good. I am looking to do something similar with mine.

I just today installed the Hotchkis 2411 rear springs. These are a 2" rear drop and have a 300 # rating. If you put these on it will lower a 03 about 3". I tried to put these on with my 2" drop shackles but only on the first hole which would give me a 32" drop (4" on an 03) bit it was fighting to get on and looked like it was going to bind. So I'm back a 2" rear drop with springs only. Which is good. This way I don't have that much sway in the shackles.

I used the JLP 3" drop on my '03 and the result was 5 1/4 from tire to fender well on the rear. Which according to my measurements is 1/4 higher than the stock front.

I really like the look!

If you don't carry too much heavy stuff you can remove the second spring up from the bottom.
This drops it about 3/4 inches, at least it did on mine and gives a softer ride.

Is there anyway you can please post a pic of your truck? I have been wanting to do this to mine but I want to see how it would look first. Do you like it better?
