I have the flex a lite fans and my a/c blows cold. Maybe the wire which turns the fan on when the a/c is on isn't wired properly.
What did Ford have to say about your mods?

Damn A/C

Had mine fixed once, and it doesn't work again. Glad I don't live in Phoenix

Sounds like either the Fans arent pulling enough air AND/OR the Freon level is low....

I have E fan and in 110 Texas heat the A/C works fine. All A/C works better at speed but it should still cool sitting still

Here's a long shot.

The AC in my car would do the same as yours. It would blow cold air while moving but would die when at stop. All the AC components checked out fine along with the freon level. I had no overheating problems either. The AC did this for several months. Then all of a sudden the AC totally went out. Not long after that my battery light came on. I replaced the alternator and the AC started working again.

if you have access to refrigerant pressure gauges youll want to check the pressure for suction and discharge, also for ****s and grins pop the hood while the truck is running but in park, and go from max ac to different things to verify the fans are running when you want them too. if theyre not thats probaly your problem, if they are take it to any local automotive shop and check your freon pressure.

I don't know if this will help or not, but I'll give it a go.

When JDM first came out with their electric fan, it did not have a AC relay, so when stipped the AC wouldn't work on my truck. As soon as I started moving and got air flowing through the grill the AC would work. As soon as JDM came out with a new wiring harness that had the AC relay I installed it and the AC then worked all the time.

Start your truck and turn the AC on, if the fan you have isn't running, thats your problem. The fan must be running when the AC is turned on for the air to remove the heat from the AC's radiator.

If the fan is running while the AC is on, then you have another problem.

I bet the fan isn't working while the AC is on.

Are the fans pulling or pushing? Not working while stopped and working when moving has everything to do with moving air through the condenser coil in front of the radiator. You can look at it from there. Cutting on and off is either low or high pressure switches.

Had the same prob. this weekend when I installed my electric fan.

The problem was that I hooked up the A/C relay wire from the electric fan to the wrong side on the Fan Relay in the Fuse Box.

Make sure you connect the wire to side 1 on the Relay in the fuse box, and BOOOOM, it should be ALLL GOOD.

If you pull the Relay, and examine you will see where 1,2,3,4, and 5 are, again make sure you connect it to 1.

Don I dropped my truck off the other day for this... My A/C blows warm air whether the car is moving or standing still... Don and I looked everything over and there was no indication of any electrical problem... so i have no clue whats up...
