In this summer heat, with F1's you'll probably be in the low 13's with a good launch: 13.1 - 13.3 range @ 104-106mph

When Fall rolls around, and temps cool down you may be in the 12.9-13.1s range. I've seen some guys in the 12s club with only minimal mods to their trucks like yours.

However, this is all speculative. If your chip hasn't been customized for the 6lb pulley mod, the improvement in performance may not be as great.

Also, if you race on slicks, your times will be at least 0.2s better than when you race on F1's (depening on if you get a good launch or not).

tlfwatch

I've run (2)12.7's + (2)12.8's w/a T/B-Filter-Chip-n-4Lb Pulley.
NO NITROUS

With Juice this yr I've managed (2) 12.0's, 12.2, 12.3, 12.5

On one of the 12.7's (and the 12.2 Juice run) I used my 2lb Upper also, giving me 6lbs of extra Pulley. But it usually slows me down (YES SLOWS ME DOWN)
(Every other Run I ever made GAS + NITROUS is with 4lbs ONLY)
I do run 6lbs on the street 24/7 except the winter, but I prefer 4lbs at the track and find faster ET's and more consistancy with it due to less over spining and heat on the stock Eaton.

I have no Fans, Pump, Cooling Mods, Suspension, or Tranny Mods.
No Exhuast Work, Only 2" Shackles, Truck-Trac Bars, and 28x10 Hoosiers on AR 16 x 8 Rims.

Here's all those Times Slips with the MPH's

wydopnthrtl, when did you run those times with your truck - was it during this hot summer, or a cooler time of the year? I also noticed that your chip was dyno tuned for your other mods.

If tlfwatch has his diablo chip dyno tuned, then he should be a 12 second club member - so long as it's not 100 degrees outside!

Either way, you both have really bad #ss trucks!!!!

Thumbs up LOT OF GOOD 1/4 TIMES MPH POSTED/

Thanks guys for your replys i see a lot of quick times posted and i have look over everyones times very carefully it is very hot here in this part of the country. And i know these lightnings don't like heat mine only has 1200 miles on it i can tell it is going to be strong can't wait till fall gets here. On a cool morning before it gets hot the throttle responce is so much greater with the cooler air going in just the weight of your foot on the throttle this lightning wants to take off i have stepped down on it several times because i want to break it in right i am running 93 octane + it preforms very well with 94 octane. Later on i have some more mods i wish to do i know some lightning owners who have changed exhaust and lost low end and high end torque i want to be very careful if i every do change the stock exhaust. I understand that the stock exhaust is good for up to 500 rwhp?? they might not be an advantage to full flow catbacks on lightnings. again thank you very much for your replys i respect your opinions this is my first lightning and i have a lot to learn
Tommy
