Humidity! Boo! Chip Program/Custom?

How bad does Humidity effect the trucks? Well, heat and humidity. I've noticed last two days, my truck just isn't as strong? I'm only getting about 10lbs of boost (should be ~13lbs). Has been very hot and humid lately. Just courious if the humidity effects the truck this bad? I am probably like a whole second slower in the 1/4 (just guessing, thats how much power is gone).

Also, last night it was a bit cooler, and after my runin with a mustang (explain below), i had to go out and about to just see if my truck was even fast anymore! I took off from a stop and got on it about 2500 rpms in 1st (prevent slipping, just want to check boost levels). I pulled up to about 11lbs and then as it climbed past 5k the boost level was dropping by about a lb or 2. Is this normal?

Also, who is a good chip tuner to purchase a custom chip with air/fuel tuned? I am going to be taking my truck to a dyno soon. Anything special I need to ask the dyno place ... to make sure I get A/F ratio mixes throughout the band? I need to send this to the tuner correct? So they can custom program my chip? Plus let them know my mods, AND make sure they don't have a shift program on the chip. I have one now (Pretty sure)... and I think its doing major damange to my transmission. I have the shift program on my current chip PLUS a valve body kit. Not good

What kind of horsepower increases will I see? 15h/p or so with the chip adjustment?

For your heat and humidity question refer to this post: Is the heat that BAD on these trucks?

Forced induction motors lose about 2% of their power for every 10-degree increase in ambient temperature. Normally aspirated motors only lose about 1%.

The best race weather for our trucks is:

50 - 60 degrees ambient temperature
Barometric Pressure over 30 in.
Humidity below 75%

Ambient temperature and power are indirectly proportional. Ambient temperature and traction are directly proportional.
