Ordered my F1s from Tirerack about a month ago and had them put on yesterday. I have not had new treads on the truck since I bought it with almost balds. It really grips the road nice with the new F1s. I just had to tell someone, the wife does not understand my joy.

Also, thinking of getting a triple pillar pod, can someone provide me with a link to the best one? Also, any suggestions on what I should put in it and how tos?

Thanks guys, Jim

I feel your joy!

I did the same thing a few months ago (right before the ba$tards at tirerack dropped the price of the F1s...ARRRGH!). It's the best feeling to not worry as much about rain, holes in the tread from being so low, etc..

As far as gauge pads, steer clear of the autometer dual (dunno if they have a triple). I installed the Autometer one, and after a WHOLE lot of Dremel work, prep and painting, it looks GREAT.... but I know there are better ones out there that take less effort to install. The Autometer pod goes over the top of your exisiting A pillar, and it takes some work to get it to look perfect.

Thanks!

I know what your saying about the rain, I was having a tough time staying on the pavement. Hydroplaining like crazy.

I got the discount price however, the shop put some crazy psi in each tire. 37, 34, 35.5, and 35 I had to fix that at the first gas station in the next intersection.

Try lowering the air pressure in the F1's to 24 -26 lbs, then your wife will understand your joy.

Amazing the difference from the 32 - 35 lbs.

Same goes for the Nitto's!!!

CONGRATS

I curse and post all winter how I can't TOUCH the peddal.
But just now on the way home for lunch, with heated F-1's,
I had an oppurtunity to WOT it from the Stop (currently running 6lbs of extra boost)
Schitt ya it burned through 1st 2nd and 3rd, but I was still semi hooked and getting squiggly all the way down the road as it was whinning and screaming and eventually digging in

NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT, LOVE IT
