I got the truck dynoed last week and Sal looked at the numbers and here are the results:

Street program: 370hp and 455tq
Race program: 395 and max torque is 473

I need at least 5 more HP!!!

I was thinking about a valve body since I need the chip to be reburned as I am a little lean on the race program. Is this a good move or is there a better way to go?

The valve body is the only way to go,!! unless of course you buy a Monster Box tranny both made by Gregg. Way to go on the dyno numbers

 

An FTVB won't *add* any rwhp...

 

Easy! Remove the Magnaflow and install stock Ford cat back. Sorry for being a smart ***, but I really think you would get at least 5 hp. Skip

LOL! Ahhh Leron, I told you once you start modding that thing, it never stops! Now here you are looking for 5 more HP!
Just put a 6# pulley on and you'll get alot more than 5HP!

I didnt mean the VB would add any horsepower but it is one of the best mods out there.

I thought increased back pressure increased torque not hp, by putting the stock back on??
