Amp mount Question

For those people who mount it under the passenger seat, are there and probelms? Heat? And im guessing you take the jack out of the car. Also, are there any other places where i can mount it other than the back wall....I would rather have a clean look.

I have one under the driver seat and the passenger seat. I've had them for maybe a week or so and no problems yet. They are small MTX amps and I don't play the music too loud.

I took my compartment boxes out from behind my seat and had room for the speaker box that was im my mustang with JL 10's (it reached from the passenger side wall to just past the console), then they mounted both of my amps behind my seat. So far no heat problems and as far as the clean look goes like you said, its behind the seat and you cant see it anyway. Besides I'd much rather see my sound system behind the seat than that plastic black box, unless of course you actually use it.

Mine's on the transmission hump, underneath the center of the seat. It's about 20" long (the amp), so it was a tight fit and it required a couple of mods, but nothing permanent, and nothing you would notice without removing the entire passenger seat.

If I were to mount it on the wall how would I take off that plastic bumper/cover under the window?
