4.10's on non-L

Hi,
I know this might not be the right place to post this, but i feel that a lot of you guys have experience with 4.10's so maybe you could help me out. I got a 2001 reg. cab shortbed 5.4. It has the open 3.31 rear end in it right now, and i must say that traction is an issue, i gotta roll it on usually. I am also planning on adding the trac-lok with it. I have a few mods and am not putting out a whole lot of power compared to you guys. So i am wondering if the 4.10s would be alright seeing as how i won't trap over a 100mph and don't put down over 400lbs/ft of torque. Also, what kind of improvements in et can i expect? i am hoping that with the 4.10's it will pull harder and maybe break the tires loose, but i am also hoping that the trac-lok and some better tires will help alleviate that. What do you guys think? thanks.

Unless you changed something it should have at least a 3.55 but more than likely 3.73s.

My 2001 S'crew comes stock with 3.73s.
