Got pulled over! Cool story!!
Right after exiting the interstate, while coming home from work this afternoon, I ended up driving behind a county cop for about 2 miles.
When my exit approached, I indicated to make my right and the cop car took the same exit as well. He drove about 100 yards along the road before putting his lights on. As there were no other cars around, I pulled up about 10 yards behind his car. At this point I was a little surprised as I had been driving the speed limit and made no 'crazy' passes or high speed turns.
The officer got out of his car and his first words were "Nice truck!" I spent the next 15 minutes chatting with the officer about the upgrades I've made to my truck, his red 2002 Lightning and the FFW event he attended a few weeks ago in Richmond! In my small town in VA there are just a handful of Lightnings around so my truck stood out. The officer even told me where he lived and asked me to drop by anytime to check out his 02 L.
How funny is that? I'm making new friends from driving this truck!

he is a county mountie i grew up with his kids, he also has a 73 road runner 440 with a sunroof, 1 of made pretty cool guy!

Cool story and he seems like a cool cop, but I think its a little odd he used his lights to pull you over just to BS
even though we are the heart of uva charlottesville is still a relitivley small town i have a sherriff's office friend and he will sometimes come up behind me in traffic and turn on his lights and siren, but i usally chirp a little tire and he comes to the shop to bs for a while, all in good fun, not all cops are bad.
