Just checked my email again tonight. I have 87 more spam/viruses since late this afternoon. This is one mean virus!

Angry Damn Tuners

I have been getting the same thing from all the tuners here, it really sucks..

Been getting about 11.45 to 12.65 of them a day, but the only reason I can figure that I havent been getting a lower number of them is because my computer is running a safe antivirus program or my Norton wants me to get comfortable with all the extra anti virus software that I have recently spent a ton of money on.

Not too happy with my current anti virus software company, so I might just bite the bullett and go with the company that works out of his "house" and maybe take the number of junk emails I get down to 10.70 or so a day during peak or "hot" times.

I guess there is something to be said about "safe" programs huh?

at least I am not alone in my misery.

I just logged in over dial up on a borrowed PC and found over 400 emails and counting..

Geesh

Make it stop ...

Putting in filters since the subject lines are as described above

I had the sobig virus on my comp over a month ago...isp got suspended because of it...norton didnt catch it and I couldnt update because no isp...I installed the newest version of norton AFTER reformatting. AOL said my comp sent out over 5600 emails and *** said(my isp) said I had sent out over 1200. My sent folders were empty...but its the newest tool spammers are using because they are still makin money w/o usin their comp/bandwidth.

Me, too. Serves me right for using Outlook Express. Should have known better than to install any Microsloth crap on my Mac.

I setup a filter in Outlook to catch and delete them. 2354 of them arrived overnight. This is one NASTY worm!

Hmm, I actually haven't received a single email from this. I don't use Outlook, or any MAPI client, and try not to put my complete email out anywhere. It pays sometimes to list your email as meREMOVETHIS@REMOVETHISisp.com, then viruses that scan your cache won't pick it up.

I am a system admin for a software company and one of my coworkers pc's was not infected with the virus (thanks to me!!!) however, he too is receiving tons of mail. We had to shutdown smtp service to his computer to keep the network traffic from backing-up. Your right, this is a bad one.
