Is it stock? Private seller or dealer? How do the tires look?

It is stock minus an Air filter- it was a trade at a toyota dealer. Tires look decent. They arent stock goodyear f1s. They are perrellis'.
He wont go any lower than 21k but i have him there. with all the paper work drawn up. Calling insurance right now and banks to see what we can get finance wise.

Not a bad price. I would get an extended warranty on it, if you are only doing simple bolt ons. I'm sure you can find something w/ lower miles for the same price. You can buy a Lightning w/ 10k miles that's been abused or 36k miles that's been babied. You never know...so check it out good. Have fun and be safe.

Is this the Black truck over at Toyota in Weston? If so, I took a look at it with my friend who was interested in it. Doesn't look too bad. My friend said he drove it and it felt like it had a shift kit in it. Im also pretty sure its dropped a tad bit. Good luck with it!

It's essentially a 3 year old truck? Seems a bit steep to me.

Other than the fact is IS a lightning ...

check for chip, or any other mods, and bust your *** to find out if any plugs have blown and plug changes.

Look at www.trucktrader.com, I had found a 2001 w/19k for 22,000.00 obo here in florida. It'll already have 3.73's, aluminum d-shaft, upgraded intercooler, bilsteins, newer front lights, & 90mm mass air. Take a look. I'd personally try to find a 01 or 02.

I dont wanna rush- but time is of the essence. I leave thursday for school in Orlando. My Grocery Getter SUV isnt running the best at all. So i was hoping to get this over with before i leave.

Next day or so could go good- or bad. Only time will tell.

I would look around a bit moor. 21k does sound a bit steep. Depending on intrest rates and your credit, you may do better on a 03. I got mine for 297XX on X plan, and with the lower intrest rate for a new vehical, the payments were not to much more. Just my .02.

Nope, that's not a good deal. That truck should sell for $18,500 - $19,000. If you do decide to purchase, make sure the intercooler was replaced with the 2001 and up model. If not you will have an expensive fix on your hand.

No vehicle is worth rushing for.

Personally I would pull a carfax and insist on service records, especially for a L. I would be surprised if a Toyota dealer knows much if anything about our vehicles.

Great advice above regarding "what if's?" As far as price, $21k for the mileage sounds high.

Good Luck!
