The pic that shows the water/coolant shows what appears to be grating in the hole. Was there no grating at the time or did it fall through when you drove over it?

 

The way my truck fell in and the way that the grate is laying in the hole i would guess that the grate was already removed for some reason. I dont know if it was there on top just barely before hand as if I did I would have noticed it I damn sure would not have kept going. Even though I was wanting to get my bumper cover repainted due to rock chips But no, I dont think it was on top at all, if so I would think the grate would be laying the other way. just dont see how it would of fell that way and not have crushed or got caught on the pvc in the inlet

Thanks for all the concern guy's. It could have been a lot worse. Even though its pretty bad to me. Its my baby cramed in that damn hole. Everything should come out ok. Insurance will fix and then go after the owner of the property to be reimbursed.

This thread brings back some bad memories. Back in ~1993 I drove my buddys pimped out grand am to the car wash and fell in the hole just like secstang03. It trashed the oil pan, front bumper cover and mounts bumper, plus it scared the tar out of me.
