New best times

Went to track this weekend with the new mods. Got some times. First off, mods: Mac air filter kit, 4# lower, Flowmaster muffler, Diablo chip. On normal daily driver mode on the chip (not turned off) I went 13.18 @ 104 with a 1.88 60' on the stock F1's. Not too bad. Hoping for a 12. Does the number sound right? Gonna dyno this week to see what power it is making. I'll let ya know.

What was the weather like>??? You should easily be hitting the 12's with a 1.8 60' with a 4LBer. Was it hot and humid out>??? That can explain why you don't have a 12sec time slip. Good times regardless! As long as you went out and had a good time. -Mat-

On sunday the temp was hovering around 80 and the humidity was still a little high (probably in the 60-70% range), friday night it was horrible 85 degrees humidity of 100+%. Gonna try the race burn next time, and still need to get the line mod valve.

I highly recommend you get the F.T. Valve Body from Gregg Evans, as opposed to just the line mod valve.............I'm sure anyone else who will chime in on this thread will recommend the same.........you will thank me later, and so will your tranny. Run a search on this Forum, and you'll see why. NastyWendy gave the best description of the Valve Body.

You can get it for $200 from either PSP, REM, or LFP. Also, do yourself a favor and get the deeper sump tranny pan at the same time.

If you decide to go this route you may also wanna check into Outrageous Performance. I think they have good deals on the pan and accumulator body. -Mat-
