Trans Fluid ?
Trans Fluid ?
I just changed the trans fluid in my truck it has 4x4 pan I know others say it takes about 7 qts I only used 6.25 if that anyone else use the same amount I also realize it is like living on the sun right now in NJ maybe it will be a little on the low side in cooler weather trans temp was running about 155-160 and fluid level in do not add section of stick
Thanks
Slick
PS if you got a Costco by you mobil ATF is like 9 - 12 buck for a case of 12 and mobil one oil 22 for a six pack

I guess I will have to check this when it cools down a bit, but I also didn't wait for the dripping to completly stop when changing but definately no way another 1.5 qts +/- would have come out.
I went to alldatapro.com and looked up it says 4x4 16.7 ltrs and 4x2 16.1 ltrs so I figure 10 ltrs/qts for converter and either 6.1 qts or 6.7 qts for pan I think it is like 998ml(1000ml=ltr) to a quart or pretty close to it
Thanks Again

to check start truck shift from park thru gears a few times then let trans go up to normal operating temp then check road test check again
