Just got back from sitting in the Ford GT......

UN BELIEVABLE beast.
I volunteered to drive it for them, but they actually said, "NO"
The nerve of some people. Me being a loyal customer and all!

Anyway I was at the Concourso Italiano which is held in conjunction w/Pebble Beach concours (featured marque = FORD) I happenfd to bump into and sit in the new GT. WOW!@!!!!!!!!!!!

Where was I, oh ya, I grilled the SVT engineers about the new L and they said " we'll be lucky to have the next gen L out in '05"

DISCLAIMER: These were SVT Ford GT project engineers not L engineers, but that is a direct quote.

Did I mention how bada$$ the GT was........................................ Ford GT

Performance!!

With the weight to horsepower ratio, I read where it should out accelerate the Viper and 911 turbo. Would love to have one but think I would have to sell my house and sleep underneath it

They said "Under $150,000" MSRP

of course then you have to pay dealer markup of $20,000

The GT-40 was renamed the GT awhile back. What an awesome looking car, but a little out of my league unless I win the 70+ million dollar lottery tonight.

Yeah I saw that at last year's SEMA show, it was decent looking, had a small crowd looking at it when the show opened.

Just think the look on the face of dealer face if you asked for the X plan on it!
