Exclamation Air/Fuel Gauge Wire??????? (pics)

looking to tap into correct wire. Think it was promodlightning that recomended Blue w/White stripe or Red w/Purple stripe or Blue w/Red stripe.

Do i even have the correct location???

Yes you do, thats the main computer harness. I still would be tapping off the actual o2 sensor myself.

I tap off the driver side (bank1) front o2 sensor, the black wire.

maybe i will just get the harness... but back to my original question, that big 'ol jumble ***** of wiring is where these other wires are to tap into?

Also be sure you tap on the O2 sensor side as Michael pointed out in his picture. If you screw up all you have to replace is an O2 sensor

Ox2 sensor

Granted nobody wants to butcher up there wire harness but keep this in mind, the Ox2 sensors use outside air as a reff. to judge rich or lean, the 4 wire Ox2 sensors get this outside air through the strands of wire inside the insulation (this is true from Ford elect class) so if you splice into the Ox2 pig tail and solder the wire you stop the air flow and can affect the reading of your sensor. This is just something to consider. the smaller connector above the large conn is where the Ox2 wires are.
