Problem at startup??

Hey everyone, well here is the problem. Whenever i start my truck it seems to want to die before it fully turns over. Usually i turn the key to on and let it sit for a few secs before turning the ignition and that seems to make it start ok, but only sometimes.

Does anyone know what the problem could be. It's been doing this as long as i could remember.

You might take it to an Auto Zone and see if any 'soft' codes are there.

I would check for the correct voltage(<1.0 volt) at the TPS too.

MIne does the exact same thing!!! I have dealt with it for a year now. It only does it sometimes mainly after i turn it off and go in somewhere for a quick second and then come back out and start it up. I found that if i pump the gas petal a few times before i start it, it doesnt happen. If you find out what causes it, let me know. Thanks.

Check your cam position sensor. I had some problems starting my truck, and its going in today for that problem...
