The 04 lightning will NOT be the new body style. The Order sheet was posted a few weeks ago. No significant changes other than the color that we know of so far.

The Next version of the Lightning wont be out for a year or 2

Well, since the '04s will be a legacy truck just like the rest of the gen.2s it will have an auto. If they make an '05 I have heard that it will also have an auto, but better and stronger than ours. What's the skinny, Gregg?

We should not have to choose. I can't understand why every GD automatic does not have a manual shift option. It seems like a no-brainer to me. Give me some steering wheel buttons to shift with and I am in heaven.

Hey Tim,
Is this not possible? Maybe Greg could come up with a kit of some sort. I would pay good $$$$$ for such a kit. I downshift mine all the time going into corners just because I like how it makes entering the corner feel.

I agree with Tim; every auto(especially in a performance vehicle) should have an easy/working way to shift it. We rented a Mitsu. Montero with an auto, but it had a sweet shifter. It was very nice in the mountains, and fun to drive around town. I would also pay for a way to have something in the L; Gregg is it possible?
