How many lb's should I torque stock pulley to?
Im putting my stock pulley back on. How many lb's should I torque the 14mm hex screw to, and how many lb's should I torque the 2 nuts and 1 bolt for the cage to? Would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

specs
specs on stock pulley is 74 ft lbs and the bracket nuts are 34 ft lbs

WARNING
Make DARN sure you use anti-seize on the stock pulley threads as they can be a biatch to remove.
Mine was a LOT tighter than 74lbs. Ended up using a 3-foot cast iron pipe on the end of the socket driver, broke a tooth off the driver, and messed up my back in the process. :mad: Bob |
Hand tight on the 14 mm is sufficient ... since it is left handed
that 400 HP engine will tighten it right down .... Ditto Rabid Robert on the anti seize ... I did mine for warranty work and after a week it still spun right off with the proper anti seize. |
