Anyone had this bad of luck?

I was driving on the freeway when a plastic bag was flying around in front of me. Traffic was pretty heavy so no big swerving was going to happen. Anyway, the bag's coming at me and I moved as much as I could and thought I'd missed it with my right side tires, which I probably did, BUT the exhaust pipes got it. Now I'm trying to get burnt plastic bag off of my pipes

Done ranting, but still PO'ed.

That happens all of the time...exhaust systems are like magnets to plastic bags.

Don't feel bad I was reading the paper this morning and a guy got pulled over for speeding. They wrote him a ticket for speeding, Dui, driving with a suspended license, driving with no insurance, and not having his seat belt on. I would hate to see that bill.

Yeah, I had that bad of luck only worse. The bag was full and had fallen off the dog pound maintenance truck.

My luck was not as bad as Raoul

There is always construction goining on near where I park during work. Apparently an industrial strength trash bag was blown under my truck while parked, and somehow wrapped itself around my Bassani catback. Of course I did not see it, even during my normal walk around be for getting in. Sure enough, I drove with this plastic melting to my exhaust all of the way home. I didn't even smell it until I parked, and still didn't realize what it was until the next morning.

I guess it happens to the best of us...
