Question is the clunk doing damage?

This may be a stupid question, but is the clunk really something that needs fixing or is it just the sound that is annoying? If its just the sound I can live with it. If it will develop into something worse then I'll definetly go w/ Herb's washers. Thanks in advance. Sorry if this post is annoying.

No. It's that damn bolt and oblong hole... Mine does the SAME thing, even after the dealer "fixed" it last year with star washers. Braking hard, and slow, tight turns.

*edit* The fix lasted - all of 4 or 5 months until it came back, and they didn't grease the ball joints...

May see if I can get them to fix it again under warranty and use the Herb washer.
