Well technically, a Torque Arm hooks up the same way. Its to bad stan hasnt played around with one on the L. Its needed in conjunction with a Panhard Bar.

The best combo to spank IRS powered cars is a PB and TA.

Here is what Ruslow's looks like

Here is what one looks like from Griggs Racing for a mustang.

and when you want to get real serious, go for the Watts Link

Now, who would like to help me convince Griggs Racing there is indeed a market for suspension parts for Lightnings so these goodies trickle down?

Why is his PB located towards the TOP of the diff opposed to the lower center of gravity with every other PB design The bar is not parallel either.

It is mounted high because of the weight of the Lightning. Lower mounting is for lighter cars. It all has to do with the roll center. I read an article on panhard bars and it gets fairly technical on what effect different locations have on handling characteristics. The angle of the bar also is adjustable and depends on what result you are looking for.

Referring to the picture that was posted.

IRS is the last thing i would want on a road race machine, but thats just me. Go look at the amount of mustangs that gobble up M3's on the road courses. Panhard's with Torque arms and Front Coil Overs
