I don't think those would perform too well on the road courses ...

Cliff, the GS-C makes a good solo/solo2 tire. Changes the gear ratio a little since it isn't a 45, but not too bad...keep in mind jack clearances...if it was "close" before you put them on, you'll never get it out from under after without some wood planks.
