Unhappy Good muffler shops for hi-flow cats..

Anyone have custom midpipes installed with Hi-flow cats?

Can't seem to find a place that'll do it, or have a mandrel pipe bender... Any ideas of where to start to even look?

Where have those who have had hi-flow cats installed gone?

Anyone know of a good place in the St. Louis area?

TIA...

Just buy a set of Basinni high flow cat pipes, pull your factory ones off, stick those on, your done.

Well I bought my truck with bassani headers, midpipe, highflow cats, and catback. It sounds great, but within 1.5 yrs. all heatshields have broke at the welds, and now the drivers side is starting to rattle real bad. It's kinda annoying with these cats, although everyother part of the exhaust rocks!

I have fixed my share of Bassani heat shields since they tack weld them I prefer the Car Sound SS cats 10:1. They are the same ones JDM uses on his full systems. THey are better looking, larger, better catalyst formulation, fully welded heat shields. Here is a pic of a set I installed on a Harley. I have been installing them on local L's for $350 vs. the $600 Bassani cat pipe.

Woo hooo!

I went to a shop yesterday to find out about installs... The guy actually called Magnaflow R&D for me (as he's an authorized installer/seller). He asked me "Who's truck is this on now?"
I told him "Flying ****. That's spelled M o F o" (He\\, I didn't know your real name at the time...heh)

According to Magnaflow, it wasn't going to be for 60 days, but if they're going into production, rock-on!

Call your three or four local ma and pa repair shops and ask them what specialized muffler shop they reccommend. Usually one in the same area gets all the 'special' business from them! That worked for me!
If you were in Cincinnati; I'd recommend one...
Good Luck,
John

Called - no pricing information yet. Sales guy at Magnaflow said "at least a month..."

Guess I'll be trying some local shops to have them custom made ... gotta be someone who will cop off the pre-cats

Any idea of who makes the cats for Magnaflow? Hope they aren't the same as who Bassani uses.

Magnaflow bought Carsound, who make the best quality converters on the market. The Bassani people use the crappy Catco's.
