cowl or shaker?

Im going to be getting a new hood in a couple of weeks and im just curious as to which would set my truck off! Ive been leaning towards a harwood 3" cowl but ive also look at the cervini's cowl. But theres always the shaker hood in the back of my head lol. Well if anyone could show me some pics of these hoods and the shaker on a silver hood id really appreciate it, and if anyone would tell me if the shaker is worth the extra money. Thx!

there is only 1 silver truck that has a shaker that i know of. it belongs to Coldie. you can see his truck in the photo galleries. however, he has hmost of his hood painted black. so, you really cant see the contrast of the shaker.

Only you and you alone can make that decision, but I think the shaker is the best looking hood on the market, hands down!!!!

I thought I read that Pro-glass has stopped making the shaker. Is that true?

Thanks svt4rd,
I thought I was out of luck. I definitely want to get the shaker, just don't know when I'm going to be able to do it. Work's got me so busy traveling I don't have any time for much else.

i know the shaker is an awesome hood because its actually functional but i dont think it looks all that great. it looks kinda plain, and not very aggressive to me. i guess its a little -too- subtle for me, which is strange, cuz i like subtleness. guess im just a picky f**k. :P but anyhow had to play the devils advocate. good luck on your decision.

I have a silver L with a Cervini 3" Cowl. I've had it on the truck for over a year now and have always been really happy with it. The 3" cowl isn't overpowering at all on the truck, but has very clean lines and gives the truck a much more aggressive look. I'm new to this board, and don't have the equipment to scan pics yet nor have I learned how to post a link from a previous thread; but if you'll go to a thread I posted about a week ago entitled "Need advice on Long Tubes" and go down to the 12th(or so) post, a friend of mine(Autothrottle) posted a link that has a picture of my truck and one of my wheels(I believe it's around page 9-10). Hopefully it'll at least give you an idea. I will say that the Quality of the Cervini hood is Exeptional inside and out. Good luck with your decision!
I apologize for the runaround; I hope to get a better handle on this computer stuff directly.Adios.

Rob
