I will have to update this Tuesday when I have my build date but I am build #1494 and it is white.

 

My build number is 1062, born on May 7, 1999. Is 27,000 miles good for a 5 year old truck?

 

I got 9,500 on my 99!

 

It is so cool that so many new owners of 5-year old trucks continue to keep the 1999 Lightning registry up to date. Just goes to show how strong the SVT Lightning family is and how passionate we are about our trucks.

Bad News, 1999 Lightning (Black)
- Build #1230 of 4000 is deceased. Met a Tractor/Trailer Rig head-on, driver OK, I bought the husk - only salvageable parts were the seats, engine, tailgate & back-bumper........

I, too, drive a '99. Bought it new on July 3, 1999. Had the best 4th of July ever! Got about 60,000 miles on it now and not an ounce of trouble. Just miles of smiles.
