Been thinking about getting a new Lightning for a little while now. Was wondering if anyone in South Florida would mind sharing with me the amount you paid for your new L and the dealer you bought from?

Sawgrass sucks dude.............SORRY! I've been there twice, and have had horrible experiences...............markups on everything SVT, and even the Mach 1................plus, the most unknowledgeable salesmen this side of the Mississippi.........Asking me stupid questions like, "Would you like a Cobra with an automatic", and the even dumber "We can order you a Mach 1 Convertible for '04".

I bought my Lightning and the Mach 1 from Maroone Ford up in Margate.............tons of selection, flexible with test drives, and flexible on pricing...............I picked up the Lightning for $1500 below MSRP back in '01, plus a free Tonneau, bedliner, and service at 3K miles. The Mach was picked up at just over X-plan price, and they gave me the best deals on trade in values as well.

I got my first one from wayne ackers on 10th ave for 29,500 then i got the 2002 at al pakers on miltary south okeechobee for 29 i think i mad out on both since i buy so many trucks from these people

 

I also bought mine from Maroone Ford in Margate. They were very easy to deal with.

 

Worked out an X plan deal with Maroone Ford (Margate). Just waiting on the X plan pin code. Can't wait!

Yeah Vinnie, I thought that was you over there too! BTW, how do you like that L? I really got the bug bad, but hey, the wife gave me the green light! I'm even getting her space in the garage so both SVT products will be under cover! Life is good.

Yeah, thats me over there. Trust me when I say you'll love the L. Its a great vehicle. Hope you've got some $$ saved up for mods, because once you start you just can't stop.

Just like JC said....Stay as far away from Sawgrass Ford as possible.
