Noticed you sent your KB in for bearing noise. Mine makes quite a bit of racket also. What kind of noise were you getting and, if you don't mind, what was the outcome when you sent it in?

Thanks,
Mark

It was making a rattling noise at idle, once over 1000 rpms it sounded fine.

They took care of it and sent me a new blower. The new one is perfect.

HMMMM, mine does the same. Guess I'll stick my ear a little closer one more time to make sure I am not hearing something else.

Mine was making the noise from the front nose cone, or snout what ever you call it.

The KB use a alluminum part instead of the phanolic to conect the nose cone shaft to the rotor pack gears. This is what I bet is making the noise either that or a bearing in the nose cone.

Did yours make your engine sound like a diesel? Kind of what mine sounds like now. Did you contact the vendor that sold it to you or Kenne Bell directly? Think I'll be making some calls.

Don's Bolt,

Ya it did kinda sound like a diesel at idle, and there was a little play in the front nose cone. Yes I called KB direct.
