What did I do wrong
I went racing yesterday. I dicided to drop my tires air pressure to 27psi. I've read for many years that is the best pressure for our F-1's. Anyway, it would not hook at all. I did my burn out, lined up, and took off. The problem was hooking up, it spun like they have never spun before. I had to lift twice, so I could hook them up. Second run, I did not burn them as bad, thinking I my have got them too hot. So I did my second run, did my little burn out, lined up again, still had to lift twice, too hook up.
What do you guys think I did wrong?? A FYI, my first past I left them at stock pressure, and ran my normal 13.89 at 100mph, the other two were awful with the tire pressure dropped. Ran a 14.134 at 97, and a 14.343 at 96mph. My truck as never ran so slow in it's life. I'm still stock to BTW. Any help with my problem will be greatly appreciated. One more thing, I put them back to stock tire pressure, and ran an 13.98 at 99mph, and did not have to left at all. So what do you think??

I always leave at idle, and slowly roll into it. (I give it any were from 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, then slowly roll into it) My second try, I went 1/8 throttle, and it just lite them up. Like I said above my first run was stock pressure, and my last was with stock tire pressure. Both runs were in the high 13's, which is normal for my stock L. O-well, guess I'll never try that again, cause I hate running slowly then I should.

I also had better luck doing shorter dry burnouts than longer wet burnouts. There is always a chance of retaining water in the tread.
