Why would you even consider that, Pete? What's the point of putting on big rails when the little itty bitty stock fuel lines are so constricted? With the boost levels you are running you're going to run into fuel starvation like Steve, Bill, Dan, etc. Why don't you just run 1/2" braided stainless lines all the way into the tank like Steve is doing?

Good point....I just dont like the design of the #4 on the stock rail....it allways runs the leanest...Someone is supposed to be working on a fuel system for a Lightning, I may just wait till that comes out and do it right....In the mean time my KB isnt on yet and have no injectors yet and I still have to retorque my heads and put on new valvecovers..and put rollcage in. man , Im sweating just thinking about it....

I will not post any specifics at this time, But it will be a complete fuel system for the Gen II that is OBD II compliant ( Evap. Em. )
System is up gradable to support 1400HP. My partner and I are about 90 days or so from having them on the market.
Thats all for now.

Don't get CPR rails!!!

I'm not sure if they are good or not, but others including me have had trouble getting service from them. They changed the quoted price, charged me COD for a package when the contents didn't come close to the COD charge, they can't return a phone call, and probably never will. I plan on running a sign on my truck which says something like CPR is for dummies when I go to NMRA in BG.

Still waiting over 6 months for either refund or second set of bad (didn't fit/poorly engineered) rails from CPR. Steer clear from these guys. I use Works rails. Available from Sal.

intersting read about CPR

http://www.snkypete.com/ click on the billet fuel rails link on the top left corner.

i know all about the cpr fuel rail fiasco and i have their very 1st set of fuel rails on my truck and they fit because i made the brackets and milled the rails. i gave him my sketches and i guess thats when it went downhill. cpr tried to get the brackets made up as cheap as possible (as like any business) so he had a guy do some test parts which ended up being sent out to calightnin. i have an identical set sitting in my garage and never installed them because i knew for a fact that the clearance and the brackets just wouldn't work. So push came to shove and he took orders for a product that wasn't even really ready for shipment. (enter easterisland) i know for a fact that the rails that were shipped to leonard does in fact fit as i had tested them out for fit and they work flawlessly and by far the brackets looked and fit way better than the ones that calightnin had recieved. i do not work for cpr in no way or form but they are sponsoring me this year (50lb. injectors and money to run their logo on my bumper) all i can say about cpr is the owner is really a good guy he just jumped in way over his head to soon. he is taking possesion of a full out machine shop this week and will be fully capable of producing a quality part if he gets the right people to work for him. he is calling on way to many favors right now just to get some of his parts trickling out the door.

with that being said, do i recommend CPR yes. but do i recommend them at this moment No. if your looking at a fuel system over the winter and looking for rails let me know ahead of time maybe i can do the machining on the rails as i did on leonards rails so that we will know for a fact that they do fit. and on a side note they have borrowed my extra lower intake so they can test fit every part (if they do so thts beyond me).

later Rob
