It looks real nice on the inside. I want to compare it to stock I just dont know when I'll have time to pull the stock one off. I'll try to take pics of the stock and ported and honed upper... Thanks, Shane

Those pieces all look nice...but how much do they really gain? My buddy does killer head work, mostly for race cars...and said he would port match my plenum with my t/b when I get my heads done, is it worth it?

Hey what can I say...I do wonder sometimes. But he has a 10sec Grand National, and worked on 8 sec Solaras in Texas. I have a little don't ask don't tell policy.

Is it Worth It?

I have seen posts where a before and after dyno yielded about a 10 hp gain. The porting and polishing (manifolds & heads) helps more as you increase boost. I got an exturde honed upper intake from Paul's for $200.00 (no exchange).

I put in my Extrude Honed intake and JDM phenolic spacer at the same time. I don't know wich one is creating all of the power, or if it's both. But I have to honestly say that the combination is worth quit a bit. I highly recommend way before electric fan, electric water pump, long tubes, etc.

What does "quite a bit" mean? Do you have any data?
