does anyone have any suggestions for a place, or resource to learn how to do your own auto painting, im not looking to do major repair, but painting the ground effects, bumper cover, etc when they look abused. i have paid 300 twice for the cover to be painted and 100 twice for the ground effects to be touched up..there has to be a better way..

i have the compressor, looking for a good gun, just need to learn the right prep work for filling scratches, sanding, blending, etc..

buy your winter beater now. buy some stuff and some instruction books. Practice.

 

Look for a community college in your area that has a tech program. Many offer beginning painting and bodywork courses. Most will offer night classes also. Good luck.
