so is it true what i am hearing about 03L being quite a bit more powerful then 01 02s. wasn't quite sure but was talking to a local shop that said there was something wrong with either the intake or something and when you take in your truck they jsut 03 parts on it and pretty much don't tell you anything about it. Sorry i can't be more detailed cause one i don't want to start a Ford BASH but two it was after a long night of partying when i was at the shop and was not paying a whole lot of attention, was jsut dropping the mans fourwheeler off after i did some work on it. jsut wondered if any you all heard anything similar. thanks ya'll Neverw/oWheels 03 SB

 

Haven't heard anything to substantiate those claims. Main differences between the '03 engine and the '01/'02 seem to be a beefier block and (after a certain manufacture date) heads with more plug threads.
