Exhaust is too loud... in the cab
I boght a bulk pack of Dynamat Xtreme off ebay for $125 delivered. It was enough to do all 4 doors (ext. cab) and the rear of the cab with some left over.
As for the holes, you can do that but it will cut down on the fresh air ventilation for the cab.
A longer muffler will be quieter. For example, if you have 14" Magnaflow, try a 18" or longer and see how that does.

Umm coldie, can you please shed more light on these air vents please? Thanks

The cab is pretty tight without these vents, but it will cut road noise significantly....

I had the stock exhaust on my 03 replaced with JDM/Kooks LT headers, high flow cats and dual Mangaflow mufflers. It sounds great; however the noise inside the cab is almost too much for me.
Could something not have been installed incorrectly?
Is there a way to reduce the dB levels from the exhaust in the cab? Thicker padding under carpet?
Would switching mufflers make a difference in the dB levels in the cab?
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

I have the Single muffler system, and it's a bit quieter.
And, it's broken-in already.
Maybe we can discuss trading catbacks??
