Talking Just ordered my seats!

I decided to go with the Recaro SRDs. I sat in them over this weekend and they gripped me better than the Sparco Torinos did. I ordered them in a near-stock color scheme and they should be here within a couple of weeks.

Here's a pic:

I tried them...

I only had two concerns:

1) side bolsters are pretty large making it exciting to get in and out.

2) my wide rear (38 waist) didn't fit to well in them (nothing like a sprint seat, but still a bit tight.

I'm doing the Recaro sports in grey fake suede/block cloth with the heating option (essentially our stock seats, only much nicer)

My concerns were just the opposite. I wanted a seat to hold my 31-32 inch waist well and provide ample bolstering. I ordered mine in solid cloth with sub belt hole for the 5 point.

Jaxtoy: The seats + brackets were a bit more than 600/each.

Thanks to everyone for helping me decide between the Sparcos and the Recaros. And special thanks to Chris' friend Doug for letting me sit in them (apparently they're stock in EVO VIIIs!).

Excellent choice, cyntaxx. I know you struggled with the decision -- I am still struggling. If I could fit my big *ss in those little SRDs, they would be one of my top choices.

Two BIG thumbs up!
