Bought the Works 112 off Ebay
Bought the Works 112 off Ebay
I bought the blower at a price that I couldn't refuse. It has 5-6 dyno runs on it. It does not have bolts or gaskets. My question is for anyone who's installed one; can the stock bolts be used? Is the blower gasket the same as the factory one? Is there any other gaskets I'll need for the swap?
It appears to be a good street blower. I currently make 413 rwhp and 527 rwtq with a 6# lower, chip, and filter on the 97 octane side. Hoping for 460 rwhp and 570-580 rwtq at the same boost.

Stock gasket is used.
However, it looks like its an early revision kit, you will need shorter bolts. The factory bolts are a little too long and will bottom out before they tighten up on the adapter plate.
The other option is the cut down the stock bolts.
Hope that helped, and have fun, you wont be disappointed!

You beat me by 10 minutes on buying that blower
.
The price was too good to pass up. I think you got a smokin deal. Let us all know how it turns out.
EDIT: Just noticed the '69 Camaro on your website. NICE! I've just started a single turbo big block project on one of my Vettes. If it turns out half as nice as yours I'll be happy.

Yeah, thanks and sorry about that! At $1500. it was cheap enough to give it a shot. I was leaning towards a KB but changed my mind when he gave me the price this a.m.
Thanks for the compliments!

If its the early style 112, you will have to modify your firewall some because it will hit the upper plenum and send vibrations into truck....

How do I tell if it's early or late model? Here's a pic:

Also, some aftermarket hoods will not clear.

"you got fuked in the @$$ hard SHM sent me an email after i offered them 1500 for it and they said yea.... ROTFLMFAO"
I inquired about it four days ago while you (I think) still had an opening bid on it. Then after reading the no warranty and other stuff I didn't want it at even $2K. So I e-mailed them for their bottom line; they replied this morning and I was lucky enough to be the first to call back.
Sorry guys but I never get the good deals.... it was my turn!
