Im thinking of adding a 150 shot of Nitrous to my arsenal...but I want to keep my water/alcohol injection in...if I were to use both simultaneously. Would any of you theorize that the NOS would freeze the water as it entered the upper plenum or intercooler?

 

run all alcohol then, because yes it will freeze the water.

 

Aquamist Kit only recomends an absolute 50% maximum mixture.....

You can run 100% Alc if you so desire. you will just be wasting product is all. 50/50 is optium for power/octane and heat removal. Most of the grand national guys run 100% denatured or a 70/30 mix around here.

 

Will call Aquamist up bout the mixture tomorrow ...this will be interesting to see on the dyno.....

 

this is the mixture i use, with no freezing. but that is a Carroll system, on a novi blower, on a dodge truck, with a 200 wet shot. so if you were to use an aquamist, with a roots, on a ford, you would probably have blue oval ice cubes coming out of your aft exhaust pipe, or something

 

50/50 would probably be enough to keep the water from freezing. ever stuck a bottle of vodka in the freezer? hehe
