Gonna Try The Race Side

Just got 25 gallons of 104 unleaded. Weather permitting I will be out trying the race side of my JL chip tomorrow. Hope the 305 Nitto DR's have a tough time grabbing, that would be a good sign.

I Sure Hope It's Fun

Have a nice straight about 12 miles out of town with no side roads, houses or constables (usually). Perfect place for checking out how the L is running!!

If I had a road like that out by my house it would be covered with burnt rubber........

Keystone Canyon

At the end of that straight is a corner that leads into Keystone Canyon. The road follows a river through it for about three miles. It has three beautiful waterfalls and some old railroad tunnels from the gold rush and copper days.

Unfortunately, I wont be seeing it or the race side today, it's raining.

Tune For 104

Told JL that is what I could get for the race side. I haven't asked him what the minimum octane could be on that side, I should, its a good question.

(wolfcreek- lol, actually start at mtn. end, straight is a good mile long so good shut down area)

If you've got a dual program chip I'm sure he's taken care of you.

You know, I'm an idiot. I'm not sure why I didn't pick up on the title of this thread. I must be tired.

Geez Its Still Raining

Started raining Monday when I got the 104, and hasn't let up yet. It figures!! Oh well guess its been pretty wet in places down in the lower 48 too. Still, really looking forward to a side one run or two, supposed to clear up by the weekend
