What was the verdict on your electric water pump deal, did Meziere give you a new pump?

I've got what I think is the best of both worlds. Good old dependable Cobra R pump with a 20% underdrive pulley for a small horsepower gain.

Bought the setup from Mad for just over a hunnert bucks

Do you have any cooling problems? Did you take any temp readings before and after?

I have no cooling problems. I drive with autotap plugged in almost everyday. I have RUSLOW's under drive pullies and the cobra pump for over 10K miles now. I was thinking about the electric pump, but I don't think it is worth the risk.

I have been running my setup since the end of May with a 170 thermostat and havn't seen any increase in operating temperatures. I installed the 18" two speed fan with Mads three stage controller at the same time. Really cool. (pun intended)
