Question LFP Efan install question

just a couple quick questions. i did a quick search and sorta found what i need, but i'd like more opinions or definately answers

as if i actually care ill help you with one bit, use a 10 mm box wrench and lock it on one of the 4 water pump bolts and wedge it so it gets tight then you can use a large crescent wrench to take the fan nut off.
solenoids, i dont know what the hell your talking about but you can probaly mount it on the fan shroud

id like to know what the hell this solenoid thing is all about, uh can someone shed some light on this.

i'm going to install my efan today in like 10 minutes. hopefully i'll be able to return the favors with any questions when i'm done

solenoid. you know, like your starter solenoid. its like a relay switch. but the contacts are much more heavy duty. I plan on using that instead of a 30 amp relay to apply power to the fan.
